BIO
Sally Jones is a visual artist whose work explores the intangible energy of light and colour. Working with materials that either hold, transmit or reflect light, she creates vibrant sculptural works that give a reimagining of the physical energy of light.
Central to Jones’s work are a series of questions:
What is light?
Has the same light always existed?
Where does the light go when it’s finished?
Drawing upon both philosophical reflection and scientific inquiry, she reflects upon the nature of energy and existence.
Sally lives and works just outside of Bath, England.
